Edward Lengel

Edward Lengel has spent most of his career as a professional military historian. His passion for storytelling is evident in his writing, tours, and presentations, in which he strives to reduce the distance between our present and our collective past. From the tough realities of military history to the interests of our first president, his aim is to write history that’s trustworthy as well as to write "cracking good stories." Dr. Lengel is currently Chief Historian at the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, TX.
